About Us

Our property journey started in 2019, when our lifelong passion for providing good quality homes merged with our expertise in the industry.

We began as a buy-to-let property company, but we quickly expanded our portfolio to include homes of multiple occupation and supported living. We work with a variety of stakeholders, including councils, care providers, registered providers, our building team, tenants, and private investors to ensure that we provide the best possible service to everyone involved.

We are committed to staying ahead of the curve in the property industry by staying up-to-date with the latest legalities, legislations, and trends. We also pride ourselves on our relationships with key partners, which allows us to achieve the highest standards in everything we do, from the overall feel and design of our properties to the smallest finishing touches.

WHO WE ARE

We are Mark and Kay GAVIN, TOGETHER WE RUN WMS PROPERTIES LIMITED

Mark

Mark has over 20 years of experience in the property sector. He began his career as a canal boat builder for a local building company, and at the age of 21, he purchased and renovated his first house. This gave him hands-on experience in all aspects of the property industry, from construction to renovation.

He has since worked on many other projects, both large

and small, developing a strong network of contacts in the industry.

He has worked alongside many other trades people, giving him a wealth of experience that has allowed him to nurture his passion for the property industry

His hands-on practical skills and 20+ years of contacts in the industry mean we’re well covered whatever arises.

Kay

Kay’s passion for property came much later in life than Mark’s. Since discovering her calling as a property investor, she has utilised her skills developed in her previous roles.

Kay previously worked principally in retail in customer service, later moving into an office management role managing 30 people.

Both roles have equipped her with a wide range of skills, including

outstanding communication, organisational, and negotiation abilities.

Kay’s interpersonal skills are essential in her work, as she deals with a wide range of people, including councils, care providers, tenants, solicitors, building teams, and private investors. Her ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and negotiate successfully are all key qualities that enable her to succeed in her role.
